Quinte Little Theatre is proud to present our Spring Youth Theatre Workshop!

Over 11 dates, participants will increase their understanding of all aspects of theatre and perform in a final show. Participants must commit to ALL DATES!

When: This program is running May - June 2025

Who: This workshop showcase is designed for youth between the ages of 11 and 16. Limited spots available.

Cost: The program is accessible through the purchase of a student membership, at a cost of $15. This is an annual membership, and the fee covers the entire year of involvement in workshops and shows as well as other membership benefits.  

Youth who are already members can participate in this workshop at no additional cost but are still required to submit a registration form to secure their spot.

Where: This program will take place upstairs in the Trenton Town Hall (host to the Trent Port Historical Society) at 55 King St, Trenton, ON.

All youth who are interested in participating are welcome, no experience required. We have roles for those interested in performance, production, or both.

We are an inclusive program. If your child has any restrictions or requires extra support to participate, we ask that you include any accommodations that are needed in order to facilitate their learning.

We require all our participants to register, read and fill out the QLT code of conduct, as well as a liability waiver to ensure the understanding of our rules and regulation and our expectations of behavior.

Parents/Guardians are encouraged to participate with their children but not necessary for involvement in the program.

Our spring workshop will create a show based on mystery and detective work. Participants will be part of the creative process through games, brainstorming activities, and improvisations. There will be vocal and choreography components to expose kids to a musical theatre experience too.
